modified by the average vorticity "b" and lapse rate "c" in its vicinity.
To see whether an observed or modeled feature is larger or smaller than
this size, of course you also need to know its size "h." Note that intensity
is not a factor except indirectly as it may affect
the average vorticity and lapse rate. See the next question to learn more
