I was flooded out of my home during the 2011 flood in the greater Binghamton area of NY. I believe it was Irene? It was interesting to learn how to calculate the probability of the 100 year flood in my home.

Aside from it is helpful in terms of environmental awareness, I've learned that we need to know the consequences of doing harmful human activities-its effect to the environment

I would like to be able to look back and find the answers to the questions. The questions that require multiple answers are particularly frustrating, and I think most of the difficulty simply comes because they are phrased funny.

Useful interactive learning unlike what I receive in a classroom.

This module is a rather good module for those wanting to know more about flood analysis. It is rather technical, but I still got a pretty good grasp of what they were talking about.

As a person who is fascinated by statistics, I found this module to be very informative. I believe percentages(0-100%) to be the clearest way of conveying how rare something is. This module described how these probabilities are derived, and what they actually signify. This module is a good start for someone who is interested in floods, or would like a better understanding of how major/minor floods can be predicted over time.
