excelente da mucho conocimiento y proporciona nuevas terminologías para crecer el conocimiento
Steb@n 2018-09-06 17:23:10

Es un muy buen curso de meteorología que nos abre el conocimiento.
cman2018 2018-08-23 07:00:24

It would be nice if the lesson was available in Portuguese!
gomes 2018-07-17 10:33:50

I would like to see the details of the wrong questions ...otherwise it takes too long to find out which is right or wrong.......probably this is the format that is not so helpeful for others to give a go ...overall it is a good reference to improve someone knowledge

Some questions and answers to a couple of the questions with the quiz are obscure in reference of the context within the quiz.
gamperjoe 2018-05-24 01:49:32

really bad lesson
dquintero5995 2018-05-21 16:37:51

The lesson provided a lot of useful info that I could not find in a simple search.

Good foundation for meteorological instrumentation.
estheredina 2018-02-16 02:38:47

Good course
SDBennion11 2018-02-14 19:47:33

The questions and answers to a couple of the questions with the quiz are obscure in reference of the context within the quiz. For example, the question "Which of the following considerations are important in the context of site selection for global climate observations?" Then you choose all that apply. In the reading, the best answer that stands out is "sufficient distance from urban environments". However, it appears it is not a one answer question, nor does it appear to be any combination of them for a correct answer. Not being an expert on this particular subject by any means, it is disheartening to not know what the correct answers are for proper effective studying or expanding on the material.
cuwizewe 2018-01-30 00:45:46

from this lesson i know to differenciate types of observation, meteorogical variables and types of observing systemscriteria to select a sit and to differenciate to types of error and their causes.

I did enjoy this lesson!
eleeeena 2017-12-04 18:49:03

it was alright
naregk 2017-12-01 15:19:42

Very helpful quiz. Learned important information.
WXTG 2017-11-29 09:54:08

Too much ambiguity in definitions. Definitions forced on participant without much logic. Rigid sensor system diagram not representative of many sensor systems.
efrenc13 2017-11-28 22:15:15

Hate this thing.
snassiri1 2017-11-20 11:18:35

I learn a lot ,but sing into the sit soooo hard
jamescook 2017-11-10 08:13:58

Lot of useful information

Retired ship master mariner have made weather observations on the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean when navigating this areas and send it to AMVER the observed datas.

Meteorology tech in general is an growing science, therefore as new measuring methods arise there is always room for improvement.
dhan_cram 2017-10-30 12:16:53

More detailed explanation and notes.
Terry Barton 2017-10-02 13:44:06

The diction of the definitions differs from the diction used by my former school.
gdwilkinson2 2017-09-04 23:42:32

I use weather instruments for disaster response purposes, not as a weather professional. This is information useful to anyone but the unit so poorly written it was difficult to learn from. It should have a prerequisite of at least two, if not three.
saviozed 2017-08-22 10:24:29

its a very good lesson. Thank you
drrichard 2017-08-03 20:57:04

This course was recommend by a soaring magazine and I did find it useful for my flying. It gives a good quick view of how meteorological instruments are used and the errors that can occur in them. While not done in great depth, the graphics were sharp and the writing very clear. I would also recommend it for anyone interested in this field.
jallow 2017-07-17 09:31:08

excellent online training site
mudoni.phiri 2017-07-05 06:23:18

It is an eye opener to us users and weather people
2017-06-11 16:57:08

I learn more
bcom 2017-06-03 21:23:35

I'm a meteorologist. Found MetEd site just few weeks ago. This is the first lesson I complete and it is really interesting. I've been provided with additional informations to what I already knew. Observation is the first step and basis in weather studies and at this level Instrumentation and measurement is the key. Solid foundation in this field is crucial for a professional like me.
kgirl14 2017-06-01 12:18:12

This was a useful lesson, however, it could have been somewhat clearer.
AngelMo48 2017-05-28 16:14:39

Fun
EDINMD21000 2017-05-27 15:05:23

GOOD SOLID MATERIAL. MORE EXPOSITION AND REPETITION OF MORE COMPLEX MATERIAL WOULD HAVE IMPROVED COMPREHENSION.
2017-05-25 09:18:16

Very informative. Especially well suited for someone who is contemplating ma career or internship into this field.

lantripr 2017-05-18 13:16:25

Overall a very good lesson. I would like to see a few more videos with either narration or lecture audio. Balancing reading, interactive tools and multimedia content are the best way to learn, reaching across both active and passive learning strategies.
jmunyarugero 2017-05-18 10:04:22

Hi, this lesson is mind opener! there are science (complex) but explainable to a layman and which can be understood. The phobia for this science lie on lack of such good educational materials developed by talented person. Difficult things can be understood. Thanking the team.
kuhi 2017-05-18 09:51:28

I recommend this lesson to all Aeronautical Meteorological Forecasters
ksmolosiwa 2017-05-18 04:57:11

This lesson was helpful to me because some of the uses of istruments and what they measure, and also descriptions of weather parameters we tend to forget them easily.
grmaddison 2017-05-17 16:38:58

As always, excellent course offering.
jillie 2017-05-17 03:36:46

very informative course

I hated your new system at first but now that I had some time in using it and working with it. I like it. Thanks for coding it.
