COMET staff hosted two editions of the timely webinar, "How to Be Alone Together…Teaching Geosciences in Quarantine." These webinars supported university professors and international hydrometeorological service trainers in the transition to online instruction in the time of COVID-19. The webinars demonstrated best practices for instructors in how to structure their online content and live sessions to foster connections, actively engage learners, and create effective assessments in both synchronous and asynchronous environments.

This 60-minute recording of the webinar is divided into three parts: Connection, Engagement and Assessment.
