Description

This course presents topics on meteorological motions that relate to the concepts of fluid dynamics. Topics supported review foundational aspects and equations needed before addressing QG theory and vorticity. Further topics covered include: the planetary boundary layers and important features such as turbulence, waves such as Rossby waves and the Froude number, and wind including geostrophic wind and the thermal wind.
