Introduction to Meteorology
Description
This course provides an overview and introduction to many important topics to meteorology with a progression as foundational topics are presented. The course starts off with these foundational topics such as Earth's atmosphere and composition, the energy balance, and seasons before addressing moisture concepts such as humidity, stability, clouds, and precipitation and precipitation processes. Next is wind both as a general topic and as a large scale and localized topic. The final lessons include mid-latitude cyclones, fronts, air masses, convection and hurricanes.
