In the Living Room
It's now 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 3rd. This is your 5th day visiting the Castillo family. You're standing in the living room. The wind is whistling and roaring outside the house, while heavy rain pelts the roof. You can't look out the windows because they're all covered by storm shutters. You turn on the TV to check the weather forecast...
Suddenly the TV shuts off, and all the lights go off. The power is out. Sounds of whistling winds and heavy rains fill the darkness. Someone turns on a flashlight.
On the Phone
Next, the Castillo's cell phone starts ringing, and Camille answers it.
Help Camille decide what to say.
Camille turns off the cell phone, shaking her head.
In the Office
You find yourself wandering around the house and eventually end up in the office.
The window is shuttered, and because of the power outage, the room is dark except for a flashlight sitting on the desk. You see that the Castillo family laptop computer is turned on; it still has battery power.
On the Laptop
You sit in front of the computer. There are two new things to look at, today's Storm Track and a new topic called "Danger Zone", Be sure to check them out as you work on today's Worksheet. All the stuff from earlier days is still available as well.
