The progression of forecasts leading from 7 days up to the short range (day 3) can be seen by clicking on the various cells in the table below (cells with "x" do not have graphics). Each link "pops up" a new window with a different medium-range ensemble product produced either on the web or in AWIPS. The animations show the ensemble products from oldest (7 days) to newest (3 days) in the medium range. Upper-tropospheric fields are shown over the North American domain, while surface and mid- to lower-tropospheric fields are shown for the CONUS.
When you are done with each animation, click the upper right hand "X" in the window to close it. Multiple animations may be open at the same time.
