About Us

The mission of the Northern-Latitude Meteorology Website is to provide access to education and training materials on meteorological topics of interest to those in the northern latitudes and to provide a forum for sharing experience and expertise within that community.

The site is developed and maintained by a cooperative team from the Meteorological Service of Canada, the U.S. National Weather Service, and the COMET® Program.

The Website is a part of the larger MetEd Website, which is host to an array of education, training, and information for the broader meteorological community.
