What 4-digit ID Do I Use?

The CBL program asks you to enter a 4-digit User ID at startup. This number can be ANY 4-digit number you choose. This number is used to track your progress through the module so that you get check marks beside menu items to indicate your progress. COMET CBLs were designed to be on a multi-user system; each user should have his/her own number. Re-use that number each time you log on so that you will see your progress indicated and your answers to questions (in some modules) will be recorded and reused. Two special logins have been established. They are 0000 (Demo User) and 9999 (Omniscient SuperUser). Both of these accounts indicate the module has been completely viewed. Some of the modules do not allow you to access certain sections until other sections have been completed. If you desire to access these sections for demonstration purposes, use one of the special accounts specified above.
Microsoft ® Windows ® XP Compatibility
Many CD-ROM based module problems have been reported under Windows XP. To run under XP, you must install and run programs as an administrator (or power user). Additionally, you must apply patches (where applicable).
